Long before the current generation took the reins, our founder, Tom “Pops” Butcher, was out building relationships one home at a time, the same way his own father, Lawrence, had when Acadiana saw its first home air conditioners in the 1930s. Pops became a familiar face across this region, the kind of person people trusted before they even understood what air conditioning was.
Today, four generations later, the company he built is still family-run, still local, and still guided by the same values he started with. We took over with one goal: to carry it forward for another 77 years.
