Unit is not a Trane (original to home and is 16 years old). Unit is a heat pump, the compressor fan was cycling on and off. I turned unit off after becoming aware of problem, when technician arrived it would not malfunction and he was unable to find problem the following day it started again and it stopped before he arrived. Technician stayed with unit this time until he located problem in printed circuit board. Not first contractor I called did not even return my call. I really appreciate Butcher's prompt service and dedication to their customers.
