Q: I have a four bedroom house with a two car garage, what kind of air conditioning and heating system should I have?
A: The size and type of your comfort system depends on many factors. The square footage of your home, number of windows and doors, window placement, and amount of insulation in the walls, ceiling, and floor.

The best way for us to determine the most efficient unit for you is to either go to your home and get the necessary information to calculate your heat and cool load calculation, or for us to look at the house plans.

Q: Why is my new air conditioning unit so much bigger than my old one?
A: More efficiency. By increasing the amount of coils in the unit the unit simply runs more efficiently. You save money on your utility bills.

Q: What is the difference between a heat pump and a condensing unit?
A: The heat pump and straight cool systems are made the same way, just the heat pump has a few more parts. The heat pump uses the compressor and back up heat to heat your home. Straight cool units use gas or electric heat strips to heat your home. The heat pump uses roughly 30%-50% less electricity than electric heat and about the same amount of energy as a gas heater.
